What began for Nigerian architect and founder, Salihat ‘Rahaman in 2012 as a mere hobby, gradually grew into a full-fledged business by 2014, out of a passion to glamorize modest wear.
The brand has since carved a niche for itself as an intermediate luxury brand, with its uniquely designed turbans and garments gracing fashion runways both locally and abroad.

Our goal is to offer a range of quality jewelry and accessories, which combines Africanity and finesse that can be worn on any occasion and to make the brand international. We incorporate Cowrie Shells, a West African symbol of wealth in many of our pieces.
Our jewelry is already available in Abidjan, Gabon, Canada, Niger, Senegal and now with FaB & GlaM Concept Store will conquer the US and the World through e-commerce.

It is a journey into the universe of freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, silk, and many other materials. Its founder, originally from Senegal and Mali and having lived in horizons as diverse as Ethiopia, Sweden, Indonesia or Turkey, had the opportunity to meet other people, other cultures, other realities. It was during this nomadic life that the scientist created Diin in 2008. EDGMERY is more than a combination of my first names Mery Edwige, it is the materialization of a passion, yes! I did not surprise anyone close to me by embarking on this adventure. My love for fashion is no longer questionable and especially when it comes to highlighting our cultural identity. I am passionate about textiles, fine and light material and through EDGMERY I impose my style to try to make each woman unique with my concept of a limited series which emerged in June 2020, in the middle of the health crisis between lockdown and curfew, reduction of working hours in my professional environment, I am also a travel agent in a box located at Almadies Dakar, I then had time to let my creativity express itself and it went quickly , faster than I imagined and eleven collections have emerged since.

There on after graduating, her passion to create wonderful designs never died and the requests for these pieces still kept trouping in from both friends and family. A friend offered her a slot at her networking event, the response was huge. At this point, there was no turning back. The rest is history...

Since 2018, the Maraz brand through financing and technical support received from the Délégation à l'Entrepreneuriat Rapide, explores new paths, combining aesthetics and usefullness. Before Maraz made shoes and bags only for the local market. Today, Maraz is a trendsetter with: Leather products, company Gifts, brand collaborations, artistic works with creators across the whole world.
Beyond production, Maraz has embarked on high impact social projects through a partnership with the United Nations and other international organizations to provide an answer to the question of employment and the integration of young people through a vocational training and support program for refugees in particular and young artisans in the sub-region.

Marie Gueye, now a key icon of Senegalese and African fashion, was born in Dakar and the eldest of a family of 8 children.
Marie had a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship from a very young age. She spent most of her childhood in the city center of Dakar, where she attended the Thiers school and then in Saint Michel for her secondary studies.
At the same time, Marie Gueye is taking sweeping lessons at the Mudra Afrique dance school. Very early on attracted by styling, young Marie, at the height of her 12 years, made her first clothes.
